Waiter High Paced Job -- 2 open positions (Full time)

A High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 2-4 years or experienced training, OR equivalent education and experience.


Responsibilities


  • Communicate physicians’ instructions to patients
  • Assist physicians during exams and treatment
  • Perform EKGs, Spirometry testing, Ear lavages, Holter Monitors and use O2 equipment
  • Verify drug refills requests and communicate with pharmacies
  • Clean and sterilize instruments in compliance with OSHA and Health Dept
  • Change wound dressings
  • Review inventory monthly and order supplies as needed
  • Contact medical facilities to schedule testing or admissions as directed by physicians
  • Ensure that patients’ needs are met and
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills to make patients feel comfortable
  • **TRAVELING REQUIRED*** Primary Care Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Our Medical Assistants are mainly responsible for preparing patients for each visit by performing preliminary vitals, interviewing patients, and assisting providers with set ups for minor procedures
  • Prepare charts prior to each visit to ensure that all consults, labs, and records are available
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exams rooms
  • Escort patients to exams rooms and obtain history, Chief Complaint, and vitals
  • Prepare and administer mediations as directed by the physician
  • Collect, log, and prepare all lab specimens efficiently.
